Meet Dr Mfundisi
Dr Coceka Mfundisi is a Specialist Neurosurgeon at Life Brenthurst and Busamed in Modderfontein. She also works in this capacity at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, with a specific interest in paediatric neurosurgery.
She graduated from the University of Cape Town (UCT) with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She completed training as a Specialist Neurosurgeon with the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and became an Admitted Fellow of the College of Neurosurgeons of South Africa. She further holds a Master of Medicine in Neurosurgery from the University of Pretoria. Dr Mfundisi became the first woman to qualify as a neurosurgeon from the University of Pretoria in its more than 100 year history. She is the second black woman to be admitted as a fellow of the College of Neurosurgeons of South Africa.
She currently serves as a member of RAF Appeal Tribunal at the HPCSA. She is also a member of the Golden Lions Rugby Club Medical Committee. Her other notable achievements include:
- Serving as a test match Neurosurgeon: Springbok vs France 24/07/17
- Recipient of the Goldman Sachs Global Leadership Award
- Published author of a scientific paper, published in South African Medical Journal
Accounting graduate from Nelson Mandela University.
Yena holds extensive experience in business strategy, relationship management and business operations, owing to her previous roles as a business strategist, auditor and community liaison officer at several firms.

Business Studies graduate from the University Stirling, Scotland.
Having previously run his own manufacturing business and then worked as a leading property broker, Dumisani is an adept salesman. He currently serves as the business development lead, providing expertise and oversight on all growth endeavors.
